Two people were lightly injured in the blast at the office Swissnuclear in the city Olten, northern Switzerland, the couple suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
Both employees suffered burns and hearing loss due to the explosion, however unclear the action behind the attack.
Matthieu Buchs, spokesman of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, confirmed that the approval process for three new nuclear power plants had been stopped because of the disaster in Japan.
Police are investigating and Swissnuclear could not be immediately reached for comment.
