Radiation Contaminated tap water, the Tokyo Citizens Buying Bottled Water

Tokyo - Japan declared ready to drink tap water contaminated with radiation and should not be given to infants. The parents finally bought bottled water.
Many shops in Japan ran out of bottled water because Tokyo residents hired, although the government urged people not to panic and hoard bottled water, as reported by Reuters, on March 24, 2011

The situation is very worrying for the citizens of Tokyo.
Recent developments, the government said the levels of radioactive iodine from the tap water has dropped below the safe limit for infants, as reported by Kyodo.

Meanwhile, exposure to radioactive iodine-131 was detected in 7 of water purification facilities Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, north of Tokyo.
Kawaguchi City Government announced on March 24 2011 that the detected iodine 120 becquerels per liter of water in a survey conducted on Tuesday. This figure is the figure above safe limits for the baby, which is normally 100 becquerels, but still safe for adults. Kawaguchi municipal government also urged people not to give tap water to infants.
